Born in 1965, Thomas attended for three years the School of Art under the direction of Prof. Martin Demetz. After six years of training in the workshop of his uncle and Master of Art Karl Demetz, he earned the title of Master Craftsman.
In 1990 he married and started his own activity in S. Cristina in Val Gardena already participating actively in social life (volunteer in the Red Cross and Fireman) was elected foreman of craftsmen in S. Cristina, where he holds the reins for 25 years; from which they arise, in collaboration with 18 sculptors two important projects: The CRIB MEGA and CRIB TRAVELING. (www.val-gardena.com)
He works in traditional sculptures and bas-reliefs made entirely by hand, in all sizes and styles.
